Christmas Eve

These are photos taken during Christmas Eve 2010, which I celebrated at my father’s residence, after eating Christmas porridge with my mom, and attending the Christmas Service at our local church. We had a very cozy evening, with delicious Norwegian pinnekjøtt, and lots of fun gifts. I even tried akevitt, though the milder (really?!) type, that is supposed to be for the ladies. It really tastes like cough syrup, with a little extra umf, but the awakening effect is priceless when you’re suffering from a jet lag.

Now, I’m getting ready for tonight’s New Years Eve dinner party, and I’m already feeling the anticipation for the new year that is to come. 2010 was awesome! But like with a shampoo bottle or a makeup kit, I really like to finish them up, so I can buy and open up a new one. ;)

Here’s to 2011! Cheers!
